Samsung is making sure that women can feel a little more like a diva, if they desire to, in 2010. The mobile phone giant is adding two new products to their ever growing list of offerings, the S7070 and the S5150. Both are mobile phones aimed at female users. The Diva product line is decidingly feminine, from the design of both phones, to the specialty features offered.
The Samsung S5150 Diva is a clamshell, flip phone. Its cover is embossed and the case, luminous and shiny. The outside of the phone has a raised, quilted pattern.
Besides phoning capabilities, the Olivia also has a 3 megapixel camera. Photographs taken with the camera can be retouched, to create more dramatic and unique pictures, just right for the diva. The “Lomo Effect” feature makes this possible. The S5150 also has a 2.2 primary, display screen. The secondary screen is a bit smaller and displays the time, the date and battery strength.
Other cool features include ‘fake call,’ ‘wish list’ and ‘etiquette mode.’ The ‘fake call’ feature is designed to help ladies get themselves out of awkward and perhaps even dangerous situations. Many women have had the experience of being out on a bad date, wishing that someone would call and give them an excuse to bow out graciously, well the S5150 has made it possible.
The ‘wish list’ is a feature which allows individuals to make lists. This might come in handy when planning shopping excursions. The etiquette mode makes it possible for users to quickly silence their phones. Each of these options can make life a bit more convenient and may appeal to women. Besides these, however, there isn’t much difference between this phone and many others on the market in its price range. However, if a woman is in the market for the phone, why not buy one that is a little bit fancy and some cool features aimed especially for her?
