Samsung has announced two new smartphones in the Genio series, TXT and PRO. The phones will be made available in UK and the rest of the Europe later in the same year. Both the phones are touch screen and are designed to address the needs of the contemporary mobile phone users, especially the younger demographical section of the market. Of the sets, Genio Pro is an attractive touch screen design with a slider keypad, targeted at young business professionals. Both the phones has applications that focus significantly on social networking features.
But let us focus on the Genio TXT, which was explained to be designed to cater for the needs of users who heavily rely on text and instant messaging. The handset keeps the tradition of the Genio or “Corby” (outside the UK) series of attractive curvy designs, but the Genio TXT is unique as it features a keypad on the front of the phone, unlike its predecessor Genio Touch, and its sister release, Genio Pro. Genio TXT is suitable for users who want to buy a convenient phone on a budget, just like Genio Touch.
